ThreeBee Art

On July 3, 2014 by Midge

Contemporary mixed-media collages, assemblages and paintings.  Expressive fine art and conceptual photography.  Handcrafted button sprays, brooches and novel corsages.

Threebee Art consists of 3 artists:

Catherine M Evans

Catherine M Evans is a mixed-media artist living in South Cheshire.  Her ethos is that everyone can benefit from the healing nature of art, and that everyone is creative even if they think they’re not!

Catherine creates contemporary mixed-media watercolour and acrylic paintings, collages and assemblages using reclaimed and found objects such as old sheet music, vintage maps, used postage stamps and textiles.

Julene Evans

Julene Evans is a fine art and conceptual photographer from America.  She was born in 1965 in Indiana and grew up all over the US.  In 2009, she married and immigrated from Los Angeles to Cheshire. After spending many years in the corporate world, Julene found her passion in photography in 2009. A self-taught photographer, she sees her images as an expression of not only her heart and mind but also an escape from the sometimes chaotic world around us.

Sheila Blackburn

Sheila Blackburn is a primary school teacher and qualified florist.

She has developed the Flora Buttons concept of distinctive, handcrafted, floral-style brooches, buttonholes and corsages using buttons, beads and novelty charms.  Sheila lovingly designs and handcrafts each item, and offers a bespoke service creating gifts and favours for weddings, seasonal celebrations and special occasions.

All Sheila’s designs can be made in contemporary or retro styles, and colour or theme coordinated, providing a permanent, novel and unique keepsake.
