Entry fee £10 per work, up to 2 works per artist. All media accepted.
For 2016 Cheshire Open Studios is inviting all Cheshire-based artists (including Cheshire West, East, Runcorn/Halton & Warrington), craftspeople and artisans to participate in our Open Studios & Annual Open Exhibition event. On average 50-60 artists take part every year providing a unique variety of arts & crafts to the public alongside fun and creative activities for all to enjoy.
We are delighted to announce that this year’s Exhibition Event will be held at Charles Roe House in Macclesfield in association with Incubation Arts between 9th & 25th September 2016. The Open Studios Event will be held over 9 days between 17th – 25th September 2016 enabling more visitors to visit more artists studios .

- Best Newcomer / Emerging Artist Award (New! Sponsored by Northwich Art Shop)

Artists now only have the option of entering the Exhibition Only category. Open Studio Applications are now closed for 2016.
The event is to be publicized in 5 thousand copies of a full colour A5 brochure distributed throughout the region and beyond, on our website, along with press releases, radio, magazine adverts, posters and colourful large banners displayed in prominent locations during the event providing a great opportunity for artists to engage with a wider audience outside of their local areas.
Are you an artist with no studio or exhibition space?
This year there is a great opportunity for artists with no studio space to be part of this years’ event as there are tables for hire in a Marquee at the Winsford Salt Fair Regatta Marquee from £20 (please see Project Information below for more details) kindly provided by the Mayor of Winsford, Steve Smith. This event attracts a large audience to Winsford and is hugely publicised providing a great opportunity to showcase your work. To book a table please download and complete item f) below.
Occasionally we also have other artists whom are willing to share space too, so please contact us for more information.

To enter the Exhibition only category please download a, c, d & e below.
Please read a & d as this contains details about entering.
Then complete the Exhibition Entry Form in e) and Artist Statement last page in c) and either post or email as instructed along with your application fee of £10 per work.
Entry fees can also be paid via Paypal upon request (via payment request, no Paypal account needed). In this case just send us your Exhibition entry form and let us know you wish to pay by Paypal.

Please note It is not compulsory to take part in Cheshire Open Studios to hire a table during this event. Please contact Helen for more information.
Please note that both the exhibition entry & application forms must be completed and returned to take part along with a copy of your Public Liability Insurance, images and entry fee as outlined in the Project Information and Application Guidelines.

In 2017 Cheshire Open Studios is putting together a schedule of event and activities to celebrate 20 years of art in Cheshire. We are looking for a variety of art forms to participate and come together to help us truly celebrate the arts in Cheshire and are interested in hearing from performers, musicians, writers, and artists.
