As an Artist and Printmaker, I create lino prints and paintings of nature inspired by my outdoor adventures.

As an Artist and Printmaker,  I enjoy exploring our nostalgic relationship with nature and the part it plays in childhood.

I love being outside and my work often features people enjoying nature as I try to evoke childhood memories of escaping into the wilderness. I work from my studio in my home and around my family which only enriches my artwork as they are a huge part of what I create.

I find the process of creating a lino print incredibly satisfying; sketching the ideas then simplifying the design as it develops step by step to a piece of work that conveys the feeling in the moment of the photograph or sketch. While I predominantly create lino prints, I also enjoy exploring other print methods and painting using acrylic ink and paint.

I use narrow rollers to ink up my linocuts to create a rich pallet in mostly greens and blues. From simple one colour lino prints to more complicated multi-coloured pieces, I enjoy exploring the limitations of linocuts.

I hope my work allows you to reminisce about your own adventures outdoors.
