Cheshire Open Studios Artists celebrate their 20th artist open studios event in 2017 commencing with the opening of its Annual Open Exhibition 2017 in Gallery 1 at Castle Park Arts Centre, off Fountain Lane, Frodsham, WA6 6SE with its preview evening on Friday 22nd September 2017 at 7pm to 9pm showcasing work from 20 Cheshire artists.

ALL ARE WELCOME & FREE ENTRY & PARKING.

FREE REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE ON PREVIEW NIGHT!

The opening of the exhibition will see the announcement of the winners of this year’s Mayor’s, Gallery &  Steering Group Choice Award’s.

A great opportunity to Meet the Artist in person.

During the exhibition the Best Newcomer Award & Visitor’s Choice will be selected.

So why not pop along and vote for your favourite piece of art!

Artist’s will open their studios to the public from Saturday 23rd September 2017 with many artist studios remaining open until mid-October.

The Castle Park Arts Centre is set in beautiful parkland in the historic town of Frodsham. Its aim is to provide a unique venue for engaging with the arts in a friendly and welcoming setting. The Centre’s Victorian building, with its unique clock tower was originally the coach house and stable block for the adjacent Castle Park Estate.

The Arts Centre hosts exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, lectures and musical interludes for all ages. The Centre also provides for local art related clubs and groups to meet as well as organising art associated coach trips.

ARTIST OPEN STUDIOS

In 2017, twelve artists will be opening their studios in Cheshire, Warrington & Stockport from Saturday 23rd September 2017.

Please check each of our artists below to see when they will be open as artist studios open on various dates including a special Xmas opening for some.

Most studios are open 10am to 5pm, however times may vary so please check the artist opening times on the website and the brochure before planning your visit. Also some are open by appointment at other times of the year, in this case please contact the artist directly to arrange an appointment to visit their studios.

Cheshire Open Studios is a not-for-profit voluntary group, run by artists for artists. We trust our visitors will be polite and considerate when visiting our artists during their open studios by following any parking and public notices displayed for the event. Artist studios will be signposted using orange and black signs as below.
